He also kept on giving all his wives and mistresses syphilis, making it hard to have more than one healthy child. It is odd that he had more potency for a double X. Worked out well for England though, once Elizabeth got in.
scientifically it is henry’s fault that he can’t have sons with his wives, because the gender of the baby is determined by the man’s chromosomes. the women’s chromosomes have nothing to do with the gender of the baby.
but i also find it odd that he is able to conceive sons with his mistresses, but not his wives.

Actually it was only on his deathbed that Henry changed the Act of accession - his concience wouldnt let him leave it as it was, with Mary and Elizabeth disinherited, This single act, shows how ilogical he was, each child was bastardised in order that the next would be his heir, and he went to great lengths to prove that, He divorced Kathrine A, and tore the country apart, Murdered Anne and delcared the marriage null, so, logically she couldnt have been charged with adultery but this is Henry

i love these scene but i can`t find it in season 2 on dvd…..:-(
because urs got removed ill answer on this, mary and her sister werent bastards, they were in fact the heirs to the throne, if he hadnt had a boy they would have always been the heirs, and dont argue with me n this. i know all about this subject, he most likely got unlucky with not having boys, but he had several bastard sons, but they were illegitamate

at first anne was so cute and sh e’s being helpful. ( flu) but then… when she became queen of england she really gets arrogant….but she’s my favourite queen!!

it couldnt have been henrys fault. he was producing sons with mistresses left and right, but they were bastards, and not legitimate heirs. he just couldnt with his wives
This song is from Portugal and is one of the “Cantigas” to the Virgin Mary, its a very lively piece and I am glad the Tudors used it, sounds great here!
I love this scene atleast we knew anne was …well intresting
he killed her, or rather had her killed, because of many reasons. The primary one is that she couldn’t seem to give him a male heir. We know now that this wasn’t her fault in the slightest, but they didn’t understand X and Y chromosomes back then. So his administration found out that she was “having an affair” with several men. Whether or not this was true is up for debate. I don’t think she was guilty.
